Street living continues to pose an ever-growing challenge in Africa and the world at large. It is a common sight to see children, some as young as 4 years, hawking on the streets of nigeria and many other African cities. This has huge implications for children’s physical and emotional well-being. It exposes them to sexual abuse, physical exhaustion, drug and substance abuse and prostitution; even death through vehicle accidents, sickness and malnourishment.
